Humanizing Oximetry

Biotrend came to DMO to humanize the experience around the noninvasive measurement of blood oxygen. We addressed the identity, product and interactive interfaces.

Concept

From research and surveys conducted in hospitals, it was found that patients and their families do not feel comfortable in hospital settings, as the coldness of numbers, graphs and signs they do not understand is a major cause of concern for them.

Placing the physical, social and psychological wellbeing as a first priority was the mentor of the project to guide the design and technology solutions.

Results

At DMO, we work hard to integrate all product variables and identity in a new and committed experience interlacing branding, the device and its interactive interfaces.

The brand stands out for giving a positive message and having a great flexibility of use in different formats and sizes.

A brand that smiles at you is the great first step in building a human communication with users and consumers.

As regards the design of the device and its graphical interfaces, we work together with the Biotrend team to achieve an ergonomic, simple and intuitive product. Among some of the prominent features, we introduced the "humanize" mode that displays relaxing images customized by the user, as long as the values of oxygen in your blood are normal, so that the patient is in a familiar and restful environment.
